We grow fruits and vegetables and well adjusted little humans at Norfolk Public Schools.

Our Gardens are built in empty lots and black tops at public schools where children learn about living healthy, fulfilled, and sustainable lives through mentorship and hard work in the garden.

It takes a team of people who are willing to get dirty and care for the children and our gardens to help them thrive and flourish. If you would like to volunteer in any way, we’d love to have you! Please please Contact Us

Our gardens thrive from the gifts offered by our community. If you have materials and resources that you would like to donate to any of our gardens, please Contact Us

Using outdoor learning environments opens opportunities for students and teachers to explore the richness of their natural surroundings for inquiry based learning and just plain fun!

Allowing students to be a part of the entire life cycle of a garden is an enriching and fulfilling opportunity, especially when located in an urban environment.
